It was excellent in all way- the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (nothing was too much trouble), the views of Vesuvius, Bay of Naples and Sorrento below (from room and pool/terrace), the breakfast (even when we were late on first day), the cleanliness of the hotel, value for money. Had a car which was put away every evening but next time would use public transport and avoid the stress. Handy for both coasts(Sorrento and Amalfi) by bus and would recommend boat trips arranged by hotel.
We loved this hotel and will stay there again! Amazing views and the room was clean and nice. Everything was great: breakfast, service, swimming pool, wi fi for free, air conditioning in the room and in the public area.
Hotel with great views and good service - pool, free internet wifi, free aircon in the room and free car parking service. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The access to Sorrento center is easy and fast by bus.
The View was fantastic!!!! I got exactly what I requested...an ocean view. The Hotel owners are very helpfu and friendly. The breakfast was very complete. The restaurants close to the hotel serve delicious food with free taxi service to and from the hotel. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay. There is free wi-fi in the lobby and a computer that you can use for a small cost if you do not have your own.
This comment has nothing to do with the service or conditions of the hotel. I had the view I requested but if you are a night person and are not traveling by car, this is not the place for you. The bus service picks up and drops off in front of the hotel but only runs until 11pm. We did not get to visit the town of Sorrento because it is too far up the mountain to walk and unless you take a taxi (which can be expensive) you have no way of returning to the hotel late at night.
Hotel Villa Fiorita is in a wonderful location and the views over the Bay of Naples are breathtaking. Giovanni was very helpful and the hotel was very well run. We tried to book an extra night but hotel was booked out. Would recommend this hotel. Good public transport to Sorrento and Amalfi very close to hotel, where tickets are available at reception.
Unfortunately, we had a family in the room next door with a young child who screamed a lot. This was a bit of a problem at the pool as well. Other guests complained about this, although this can hardly be blamed on the hotel. Also, there could have been greater variety at breakfast...at the very least some sort of toaster.
The staff was very helpful,Hotel with a sensational view to the Golf of Neapel. Breakfast was great with fruit, cereals, yogurts, and fresh pastries. Buses depart from the train station and stop right in front of the hotel and and the last bus from the centre is at 11.30pm. View and pool fantastic.
Excellent staff, rooms very comfortable and clean. Own private balcony with fantastic views. Nice selection at breakfast.
The location is good including parking. The stuff is very freadly and halpfull. fair price.
All members of the staff were exceptional. We arrived by rental car but due to the traffic/parking issues in Sorrento, we took the bus into town. It stops directly in front of the hotel. The hotel has a very comprehensive book in the rooms that give all info needed. Bus schedule, excursions, etc. We drove to Amalfi but I would take the bus if I had to do it over again. All in all a great week.
The fabulous view and the lovely relaxed atmosphere
Charming hotel, friendly staff and wonderful views of Vesuvius.
It is a fair way out of Sorrento but buses are regular.
Staff was very helpfull and charming. The location is good if you have a car otherwise it's way out of the center of Sorrento. The hotel is clean in general
Breakfast was really not up to standards: bread, coffee and so on were not really tasty. The only bright point in the breakfast was the fresh fruit which was very good. Parking is not available next to the hotel at night, if you arrive after midnight at the hotel you need to park your car 300-400 m further down the road and in the darkness of the night it's really not very safe to walk on the road with all the cars driving by at 1 m of you without any light. Room was very small and the bathroom was really tiny with the toilet almost in the shower.
The best thing I liked about Hotel Villa Fiorita was that it was up in the cliffs of Sorrento so there were some amazing views. I also liked the walk you could do up to St Agata village, which took 15 minutes.
It was a little hard to get to especially if you are coming back latish at night. If you miss the bus you are stuck in Sorrento, unless you take a taxi which is 30 euro.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a fantastic view towards Sorrento. We enjoyed everything about it.
The staff were wonderful. Very helpful, friendly and approachable. The views from the hotel are stunning and the breakfast was lovely. Lovely atmosphere at the hotel.
The Sita bus from the hotel to Sorrento and the Almalfi coast was not very reliable. €2.40 for a one way ticket or €7.20 for a 24 hr pass. Spent a lot of time waiting for buses that didn't come/went by full. A taxi from Sorrento to the hotel costs €40.
